Some sessions come together in the most beautiful way, and this one with the Woodside family was certainly one of them. The light was dreamy, the late fall trees made the perfect backdrop, and everything about the evening had a soft, peaceful glow that showed up so well in their photos.

Emily and I graduated high school together more than a decade ago, and about two years ago we reconnected when our eyes met across the room at a mom's group. It’s been fun to grow a friendship as adults and as moms, so getting to photograph her family, and especially their sweet new baby girl, was really special.

Emily chose gorgeous Autumnal outfits, and combined with the warm light and woodsy setting, the whole session was so timeless and natural. These images capture real life with a busy little guy and a sweet baby girl!
